Joyce did this frog up because she thought it was so cute. After seeing it she asked me what she should do with it - I told her I have no idea. This is a canvas that we purchased from DJ Designs. Helen will be teaching this class in January using ribbons to construct the flowers. After it is completed it will be made into a small oval bax approximately 3" x 41/2 ". It is a must for every powder room or ladies room.

Mary Lynn did this delightful pair of Christmas stockings for a wedding gift. The stitched parts are the toe, the heel and the cuff. Then the finisher creates the rest of the stocking from Velvet. They are fantastic looking but require much less stitching. They are also on #13 mesh.
Mary Lynn loves glitz so she used lots of Kreinik. The stockings are by Kelly Clark.

Before the birth, we had seen this lovely birth announcement by Barbara Elmore. Then, we had our letterer do the lettering.
We just think it's just lovely. It could be done in just the plain stitch or one can embellish it with stitches. We are dying to see what Amy is going to do!

It was stitched in a tent stitch using wool. And although there are other options, the traditional approach remains an elegant one.
Because the stitcher used a tent stitch and wool, this pillow will be able to withstand a lot of use. Even the dog can lie on it.

Her goal was to have a wedding gift ready for each grandchild, even though most were not getting married for several years.
She did an absolutely exquisite job embellishing this canvas. She used ribbons for the flower top. Don't the lilies of the valley look real? I love the way she did the cake stand.
This is a truly wonderful gift.

The picture above is a finished moon from DJ's Rockefeller Center Stocking. This wonderful canvas comes as a stocking but also as two different sized panels (one with Santa and one without) plus a small oval ornament. Although we couldn't find the exact stocking, we were able to find this lovely Treglown Design stocking. The standard canvas comes with a red background but Lauren's friend is a purple person. So Treglown Designs had it painted with a purple background.

Jane chose both these ornaments during our May Melissa Shirley trunk show. We did have pictures to show what the canvases looked like, but they were pretty small. Jane picked up the top canvas this week. Christine, our superb letterer painted this wonderful canvas. The lettering is beautiful as is the beautiful border. Christine created the border based on a swatch of fabric that Jane gave us.

I love the idea of Rudolf peering in therough the window. He's wearing a wreath. The background and his nose added the glitter. And the ribbons in the finishing are great, too.
Given a choice, I would always choose a reindeer ornament over an angel. And I also love Christmas trees. I'm jealous.

When she opened it, she really examined the stuffed mermaid. She loved the button bikini top and the little necklace worn by the mermaid.
Kathy used metallic threads for the sky and mermaid's outfit and then used a regular thread for the sand and water. Her mini stocking is just adorable!

But she was determined to do justice to it. We used Barbara Elmore's stitch guide as a guide -- we substituted a single strand of impressions for most the background stitches instead of floss. How goal was to make it easier to Rho to finish it.

Lauren's frog is great and she found the trim herself. I love the way the corners bring out the colors of the background. I also like the subtlely of the background agains the frog -- and then the complicated borders.
