Reminder :
This Sunday
we are holding our Pear Themed Stiching Party
from 10AM - 4PM. We have had 2
cancellations so we still have
room if you would like to attend. The
turnout lately has been terrific.
You may bring any canvas you like or
purchase something new
from the store.
Now that summer is officially
over and we do not have to worry
any longer about a heat wave we should all
have a bit more energy.
With that energy we could and should do our part to
help the
environment and others that are less fortunate.
Here are our
collection plans on behalf of the store - effective immediately.
What do
you do with your old batteries? Don't just toss them in the trash! We will
collect them for you and dispose of them properly. You will see our collection
box in the store lobby. Just drop them in.
Once again it is time to help
the Food Bank at OASIS. Donate 15 cans of food or $15 and you will receive a
Free Stitch and Chat. You may do this as often as you like in the month of
October.
Remember to sign up for Small Business Saturday this year thru
American Express. It is being held on Saturday, November
30th.
Beginning Tuesday, October 15th 10AM - 12PM we will be holding a
Beginner Stitch and Chat every Tuesday morning. Come bring you project and
prefect you Basket Weave Stitching.
Book Club is starting to take off
with more people joining our disussions. Please drop in!
Ocotber 23rd from
1 - 3PM we will be discussing
The Sense of an Ending by Julian
Barnes.
Sally will be teaching her Bargello Class on
Sunday, October
27th from 9AM - 12PM.
