Today, we were hanging the canvases from the Colors of Praise trunk show. Marie Barber, the designer, is an accomplished artist who has just started to design for needlepoint. Her canvases are lovely with luscious colors and beautiful designs. We were impressed with the detail in the canvases, particularly since so many of them are on #13 mesh.
She has beautiful floral and fabulous birds. On the right, I posted two canvases == one of spoonbills and one of an egret. I always think that birds are hard to paint correctly. Hers are stunning.
