Raymond Crawford has a cute series of drink-related canvases that would look perfect next to an in-home bar area, or liquor cabinet. They're simple and non-holiday related so you can keep them up all year round!

Take a look at some of the new canvases we just received.  How charming are they with their cute patterns and adorable bows?

Thanksgiving is the next major holiday coming up, and the finishing date is August 29th. Ready your pumpkin canvases and oodles of orange thread left over from Halloween, and get started! I can't wait for hot apple cider and pumpkin pie. Yum!

Another accessory post- this time it's about lights! We have table stands, floor stands, bug eyes with lights, and small ones for travel. The best part is that any of these can be used for other craft projects such as crocheting, knitting, sewing, and even painting (if you need better indoor lighting for comparing colors).

In honor of Christmas in July, we've dedicated this Finishing Friday to Christmas themed finishing!

This was lovely star was created into a star for a Christmas Tree topper- how smart!

This Radio City Hall ornament was stitched by our very own Judy!

And this lovely Santa box was done by Nancy- the inside is even embroidered to say 'Ho Ho Ho".

Recently, our store copy of Stitches To Go by Suzanne Howren and Beth Robertson began falling apart (we use it every day here at the store). So Vanessa decided to take it to the local Staples and have it laminated and bound so that it'd be able to better weather the daily Stitch and Chats and inquisitive customers. It turned out so well that we've had several ladies from Stitch and Chat do the same with their own personal copies of the book!
Then Irma, one of our employees, came up with the idea of making a live version of the stitches in the book so that people could see what the stitches looked like finished. We've been stitching away in our free time, flying through the stitch after stitch and putting them on small canvas cards for display.

Here's what some of the one's we've completed look like:

So if you have any questions about what a stitch would look like once it's complete, come on in and ask away!
