At these great prices it is easy to be creative.  

Here are some of our shop suggestions:  

Trim the bottom of your jeans, flip flops, bracelet, 

napkin rings (especially for the fast food belt), 

rim of a serving tray, 

frame the belt over a doorway or use them as 

curtain tie backs to enhance the decor of a room.

Check out these great totes - they come in at least a dozen colors.  We are thinking Spring and you can personalize the bag by adding your own stitched strap to carry it on your shoulder.  

My suggestion is that if you can't decide on a color choose your belt first and then match it to the bag.

It is the Bunny Weekend!

If you are a fan of Geometrics this is a wonderful example of a pillow done by Nina.  She and her daughter Jen work many geometric designs and use an array of fabulous stitches.  More to follow as we get them back from the finisher.

Hi All - I am back.  I took a week off to get caught up at the shop.  

So let's get busy and I will show you what is new.  

This canvas is brand new and purchased at the Trade Show in January.  

We did have the designer make some changes to the original canvas.  

Our idea is to make this huge canvas into a stand up for an end table or buffet table.  

It is truly exquisite and is catching everyone's eye in the shop.  

We will be writing a stitch guide as well.

We are still getting new arrivals from the January Trade Show.  This would be lots of fun to stitch.  You could really mix it up with different stitches as well as different threads.

Sally's Santa Claus is enjoying the warmer weather as he floats by today on the blog.  This is a darling of an ornament by Princess and Me.

Look how lovely Josephine's ribbon ornament came out.  I am sure it will look fabulous on her Christmas tree next year.

 I don't have the time to take on another project right now, running the store, keeping up with the blog and paying the bills is enough.  But I really hope someone buys this canvas and uses lots of interesting stitches because I am sure it will make a beautiful pillow.  I imagine something very formal however with different threads it could be lovely in a family room too.  PS I don't mean to complain I did just return from a family vacation.

We just got Meredith's stocking back from the finisher and wanted to share it with everyone.  Look at the wonderful beard Santa has.  We realize everyone is always looking for new ideas so to let you know Meredith used Silk & Ivory to get this look.

Add this three dimensional pillow to any room and it is sure to be a show stopper.

We picked this Hanukah tag up at the Trade Show as well as some other designs from Sew Much Fun - a Canadian based designer and have been quite successful with this piece.

This was the newest Melissa Shirley to hit the ground running.  I love the fall colors and the way the blue just makes it pop.  I can't help but look at this and think texture and a fabulous rustic frame.  

PS And don't forget the roaring fire.

Gretchen was busy and thinking summer fun while she stitched up this happy crab.  Again look at her fun fabric selection and trim.

Make time to be creative with your finishing.  Gretchen shopped for this cotton fabric and added a small navy blue pom pom cording around the edge.  Sorry my picture is not a very good one today.  However you can enjoy the bright and colorful canvas.

How adorable are these circus canvases - last year they were an exclusive and this year they have been made available to all shops.  We could not resist picking up a few as they were made as stand ups and were the cutest things - so bright and cheerful.  Lots more designs to choose from: tiger, zebra, muscle man etc.

If you love Americana you will want to have this American Flag.  Gretchen and I could not resist this at the Trade Show.  It will provide plenty of stitching options for any level stitcher.
