I've been working diligently on the summer door but French knots and Colonial knots seem to take longer than I anticipated. This door turned out to be the most delicate door. When I first looked at it, I thought it would be a rougher looking doorway. Instead the French and Colonial knots give it a very delicate look. I have only been using two and three strands of Waterlilies, so they are very delicate.
I need to figure out what the focus is not as clear as I would like. But at least I've been able to share the work in progress.
I've promised myself that I will work on the Rockefeller Center Stocking as soon as this is done.
